Refunds are a part of doing business on Amazon...but that doesn't mean you can't do something about them.
You can use Jump Send's Email Campaign 'Refund Initiated' feature to reach out to people who have put in a cancellation request for your product.
All you need to do to open the lines of communication with a disgruntled customer is to set up your campaign the way you normally would, and then add in one more crucial step and template:
- Click on the plus sign below the New Trigger option and select the Refunded trigger:
- You can then choose when you want the system to send this message. We highly recommend you set it as ASAP for the send time:
- Then add your email message. Crafting a great refund template goes a really long way to changing that customer's mind about canceling. Here’s an example of a 'Refund Initiated' email we created...feel free to use it as is, or tweak it so it better suits you and your company:
- Finally, click the blue 'Publish' button at the bottom of the campaign page. Now you're all set, ready to address your customers' concerns:
